I have always loved comics - it shows in my early painting - the 'Pop Art' influence. In fact I learnt to draw by copying the work of the late Frank Hampson in the old Eagle comic from the 50s. So, when I was asked by Uber Dan Dare Fanzine Spaceship Away to contribute, I leapt at the chance. It felt like an opportunity to pay back something and also an acknowledgement of the circular nature of causality. Ahem - a little bullshit art jargon there......
